Light and sun in Strabane
Sun angles matter for big glazed doors. Around Strabane, midday sun reaches about 59° in summer and drops to about 12° in winter. That low winter sun is free heat through south-facing glass; high summer sun is easier to shade with a roof overhang, and solar-control glass helps where there is none.

Sliding doors in Strabane: questions
Who fits the doors in Strabane?
Doors are fitted by installers we appoint and manage under our contract, so your contract and guarantees stay with us. The same surveyed specification goes from the quote to the factory to the fitters.
Which sliding door suits a home in Strabane?
It depends on the opening and budget. uPVC is the lowest-cost option for openings up to about 3.6 m; aluminium gives slimmer frames and wider spans; slimline and lift and slide suit large, high-end openings. The survey in Strabane is the place to settle it.
How much are sliding doors in Strabane?
The door price is the same as anywhere else: a 2.4 m wide aluminium door is a guide £4,295–£5,295, fitted, including VAT, and uPVC starts from £1,695. Because Strabane is covered by arrangement, any travel cost for delivery and fitting is shown in your quote; the survey is free.
