This website is operated by S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (Company No. 16932889), registered office Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG, which trades as Sliding Doors UK. For website use and the enquiries you send through it, the data controller is S&K Group Holdings Ltd (Company No. 16703925), Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG, the parent company of the S&K Group. S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd handles your enquiry on its behalf. If you go on to order, S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd is the data controller for your quote, contract and job records.
The tick box on our forms confirms that you want us to contact you about your enquiry and that you have seen this notice. It is not the lawful basis we rely on: we use your details to take the steps you have asked for before a contract, as set out below.

Who we share it with
Your enquiry details are shared between S&K Group Holdings Ltd and S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd so that we can answer your enquiry and, if you order, carry out your job. We share your details with the installer we appoint to survey and fit your doors, who works under our contract and may only use them for your job. We also use service providers who process data for us: Web3Forms (form delivery), Tawk.to (live chat), Google (analytics, only with your consent), Netlify (website hosting) and a content delivery network that serves some images and videos on this site, which receives your IP address as part of a normal web request. Where compliance certificates are issued, your address is shared with the competent person scheme or Building Control body as the law requires. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: 24 months from your last contact.
- Analytics data: 14 months.
- Order, contract and certificate records: 7 years after the job is completed.
International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to protect it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for it to be transferred, and withdraw consent at any time (for example through cookie settings).
