Supply-only sliding doors in Buckinghamshire

We supply and fit supply-only sliding doors in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding MK9 area. Start with a guide price online, then a surveyor measures the opening and confirms the specification before you commit.

Supply-only sliding doors across Buckinghamshire

These are the points a surveyor will go through with you when you choose supply-only sliding doors for a home in Buckinghamshire:

Measuring an opening at a Buckinghamshire property yourself? Take three widths and three heights and use the smallest of each, then follow our tolerance guidance.

Not confident about sizes for your Buckinghamshire project? Booking a survey moves the responsibility for measuring to us before anything is made.

  • The doors use the same frames, glass and hardware as our fitted doors, made to the sizes you give us rather than cut from standard stock.
  • Every door is confirmed back to you in a written specification before ordering, so frame size, handing, colour and glass can be checked one last time.
  • Supply-only costs roughly two thirds of the fitted guide price for the same door, which can make sense when you already have a capable fitter on site.

Daylight and glass in Buckinghamshire

June 62°Dec 15°

The midday sun over Buckinghamshire ranges from about 15° at the winter solstice to about 62° at midsummer. Low-angle winter light reaches further into a room through a tall door, which is one reason taller panels are worth considering; on south or west walls, pair them with solar-control glass.

Where we deliver in Buckinghamshire

We deliver supply-only doors to Milton Keynes, High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Bletchley, Amersham, Chesham and the rest of Buckinghamshire.

Who handles approvals?

If you buy supply only, whoever fits the door is responsible for Building Regulations compliance and safety glazing. In England a replacement door is a controlled fitting, so compliance is arranged through a competent person scheme installer or Building Control; new openings need a Building Regulations application.

Questions about supply-only sliding doors in Buckinghamshire

Do you deliver supply-only sliding doors to Buckinghamshire?

Yes. We deliver made-to-measure supply-only doors across Buckinghamshire, with standard delivery to mainland Britain at £95. Deliveries to Northern Ireland and the islands are quoted individually.

Do supply-only doors need building regulations sign-off?

Yes, in England a replacement door is a controlled fitting, so whoever installs it must either be registered with a competent person scheme and self-certify the work, or notify Building Control. With supply-only, that responsibility sits with your fitter, not with us. The door must also meet the energy and safety glazing requirements, which we confirm in the specification.

Who is responsible for measuring a supply-only door?

For supply-only orders you are responsible for measuring the opening and giving us the sizes, unless you book one of our surveys. We provide measuring guidance and tolerances, and confirm the sizes back to you in writing before ordering. If you book a survey, our surveyor measures and the responsibility for the sizes then sits with us.

Can I cancel a supply-only order?

Supply-only doors are made to your specification, so under regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 they are excluded from the usual 14-day cancellation right once ordered. For that reason we order nothing until you confirm the specification in writing. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, for example if goods are faulty, are unaffected.
