Are supply-only sliding doors right for homes in Clwyd?
These are the points a surveyor will go through with you when you choose supply-only sliding doors for a home in Clwyd:
If your Clwyd property is on a narrow street or has no parking outside, tell us before delivery so a sensible drop-off point can be agreed.
Ordering supply-only doors for a Clwyd build? Time the delivery for when the opening is ready, so the panels are not stored on site and at risk of damage.
- Delivery to mainland Britain is a standard £95, with Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands, the Isle of Wight and the Isles of Scilly by arrangement.
- Booking one of our surveys transfers the responsibility for measuring to us, which is a sensible option if you are unsure about sizes or tolerances.
- Every door is confirmed back to you in a written specification before ordering, so frame size, handing, colour and glass can be checked one last time.

Daylight and glass in Clwyd
Sun angles matter for big glazed doors. Around Clwyd, midday sun reaches about 60° in summer and drops to about 13° in winter. That low winter sun is free heat through south-facing glass; high summer sun is easier to shade with a roof overhang, and solar-control glass helps where there is none.
Where we deliver in Clwyd
We deliver supply-only doors to Wrexham, Buckley, Deeside, Colwyn Bay, Flint, Rhyl and the rest of Clwyd.
Who handles approvals?
If you buy supply only, whoever fits the door is responsible for Building Regulations compliance and safety glazing. In Wales a replacement door must meet the Building Regulations as applied in Wales, arranged through a registered installer or Building Control.
Questions about supply-only sliding doors in Clwyd
Do you deliver supply-only sliding doors to Clwyd?
Yes. We deliver made-to-measure supply-only doors across Clwyd, with standard delivery to mainland Britain at £95. Deliveries to Northern Ireland and the islands are quoted individually.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland and the islands?
Yes, we can deliver supply-only doors to Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands, the Isle of Wight and the Isles of Scilly by arrangement. Delivery to these areas is quoted individually because it depends on the route and the size of the consignment. Tell us the full delivery address when you ask for a quote so we can price it.
What does supply-only mean?
Supply-only means we manufacture and deliver your made-to-measure sliding door, but we do not fit it. You, your builder or your own installer carry out the installation. The door uses the same frames, glass and hardware as our fitted doors. Supply-only is priced at roughly two thirds of the fitted guide price for the same door, plus delivery.
Who is responsible for measuring a supply-only door?
For supply-only orders you are responsible for measuring the opening and giving us the sizes, unless you book one of our surveys. We provide measuring guidance and tolerances, and confirm the sizes back to you in writing before ordering. If you book a survey, our surveyor measures and the responsibility for the sizes then sits with us.
